ELAINE MENDES
Founder and Vision of Revival Chelsea
I was born in Governador Valadares, Brazil, the third of nine children. My passion for community work began at age 14 and led me to study education, child psychology, and theology.
Through a course in philanthropy, I traveled across South America, working with indigenous communities and learning new cultures and languages.
For the past 16 years, I’ve served as a pastor and community leader in Chelsea. I believe:
“We may not be able to change the world, but we can change lives.”
As president of Revival Chelsea, I lead programs that promote education, health, and social justice — always grounded in faith and compassion.

Welcome to Revival Chelsea

Revival Chelsea has been a faith-based anchor in our community. We walk alongside those in need, providing support for the heart, the home, and overall well-being. Our goal is simple: heal what’s broken and help people thrive—spiritually, economically, and emotionally
At Revival Chelsea, we’ve been a faith-driven force in the community for over 12 years. Our mission is to uplift individuals and families facing hardship—offering spiritual care, economic support, and health-focused programs. We exist to restore hope and rebuild lives, creating a stronger, more connected community.

Our Mission and Vision

To empower and transform lives through community-driven initiatives that promote well-being, inclusion, education, and spiritual connection.
We do this by offering accessible and welcoming programs — including food distribution, ESL classes, cultural activities, family gatherings, and emotional support — all guided by faith, compassion, and solidarity.

To build a community where every person, regardless of background, has access to opportunities that restore dignity, spark hope, and strengthen human connection.
We aim to be a beacon of social transformation, combining faith and action to shape a more just and loving future.
